Project Overview
HomeGrown, developed by InNeed Cloud, is a specialized resource aimed at enhancing the care and education of children with Down syndrome. It provides a comprehensive framework for Early Care and Education (ECE) programs, focusing on crucial areas such as Physical Activities and Child Nutrition. HomeGrown offers a simplified 2-step approach for assessing practices, setting goals, and accessing tailored educational materials. Its user-friendly design includes a distinct Family/Child Care View, curated modules, and Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) assessments. The project facilitates collaboration among caregivers, consultants, and admins to ensure a nurturing environment that promotes the growth and well-being of children with Down syndrome.
Challenges
Complex User Requirements: Addressing the diverse needs of caregivers, children, and administrators in a unified platform required a thoughtful design approach to ensure all users could effectively interact with the system. Streamlined User Experience: Transitioning from the previous Go NAPSACC model to a simplified 2-step approach while maintaining comprehensive functionality posed a challenge in balancing simplicity with depth. Customization and Support: Providing tailored resources and actionable insights for each child's unique needs demanded a robust system capable of handling personalized assessments and recommendations.
